A Day at LACMA -- From the Colossal to the Miniature

Deborah and I spent Thursday traipsing around LACMA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. 
As always, we made some interesting discoveries!

First things first -- the giant rock.

We explored the Pavilion for Japanese Art
start at the top and walk down through sinuous curves

We could not resist the gift shop
cotton stripe scarf with stitching and a hint of dots

bracelets made from semi-precious stones
An intimate exhibition on the 4th floor of the Ahmanson Building
